Portrait of Kimberly Ferguson, the artist.

Artist Statement

Kimberly Ferguson is an American visual artist. She enjoys making abstract paintings, many of them atmospheric with nods to realism and nature. While painting, she appreciates seeing the movement of the pigments across the paper, especially when they create surprising flows or textures. She creates a balance between organic forms and the deliberate brush stokes in her art. Kimberly makes art regularly and loves learning about different materials and techniques and strengthening her skills.
